How to Bid on NFT Collection

1. How to Place a Bid on GMI Marketplace​

1.1. Prepare Your Wallet

  • Ensure you have wrapped NRG (WNRG) in your wallet
  • Convert your NRG tokens to wrapped NRG (WNRG) before placing a bid

1.2. Connect Your Wallet

  • Navigate to the GMI Marketplace website
  • Click on the "Connect Wallet" button
  • Select your preferred wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)
  • Verify that you're connected to the Energi blockchain network

1.3. Browse Available Collections

  • Explore the marketplace's collection section
  • Select the specific NFT collection you're interested in bidding on

1.4. Place Your Bid

  • Locate the "Bids" tab for the collection
  • Click on “Place Collection Bid” on the bottom right of the page
  • Specify the number (size) of NFTs and the price you want to place the bid at
  • Select the “Duration” you want to place the bid
  • Click “Confirm” to enter your bid
  • Congratulations! You have successfully placed your bid
  • Check the Bids tab to confirm your bid was accepted.
  • You can repeat the steps from “Place Collection Bid” to place additional bids on the collection

2. How to Accept a Bid​

2.1. Connect Your Wallet

  • Navigate to the GMI Marketplace website
  • Click on the "Connect Wallet" button
  • Select your preferred wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)
  • Verify that you're connected to the Energi blockchain network

2.2. Accept Bids

  • Go to the Portfolio page
  • Check the box of the NFT that has bids. You can select multiple NFTs at a time
  • The “Accept” button will be displayed. Click on the button
  • The “Accept Collection Bids” will pop up. Click “Accept” and pay the gas fee in NRG
  • Once the transaction is complete, you will see a pop-up message. Click “Done” to exit from the “Accept Collection Bids” screen.
  • Congratulations! You have successfully sold the NFT(s) by accepting the bid. Your account will be created with WNRG (not NRG).
