GMI Referral Program

The GMI Marketplace community will organically grow and thrive if you and your friends participate. GMI Referral Rewards encourages "grass-roots" marketing by rewarding you for your efforts.

The GMI Marketplace Referral Program will reward users for using the platform. This recurring reward program is active forever once you sign up. The rewards are paid in ETH on the Ethereum blockchain and must be claimed. The user is responsible for any gas fee to claim the reward.

1. How the GMI Marketplace Referral Program Works

Users visit the GMI Marketplace website, where they’ll find the Referral program page. Here users can accept a referral invitation. Accepting a referral invitation creates a transaction that is stored in an off-chain database to save on ETH gas fees. All our referral levels are tracked in this way.

On this page, users also generate their GMI Marketplace referral link that they can share with others. Anyone who accepts a GMI Marketplace referral link invitation receives a permanent 10% discount on their trading fees on the marketplace. Conversely, users can earn a 10% commission in trading fees from their referees’ transactions. The details of the reward amount are stored in the database. During a claim, the user will pay the ETH gas fee, and the information will be stored on the Ethereum blockchain. The database is also updated with the amount claimed.

2. Multi-Tier Rewards Benefit Both Current and Brand New Users

We provide multi-tier commissions on your referrals. You’ll receive 10% of the trading fees incurred by the first level of referral users you recruit. If any of them secure their own referrals, you earn an additional 5% on the second level participants. If those second-level participants get their own batch of referrals to sign up for GMI Marketplace, you make another 3% on these as the root recruiter of the referral network you’ve built. There’s no cap on how many people a GMI Marketplace user can add to their referral group. So when you help them save 10% on trading fees, you’re also able to help yourself by building a passive revenue stream. It’s truly a WIN-WIN scenario!

3. How to Invite Friends

3.1. Go to the Referral Program page on the GMI Marketplace and connect to your Metamask wallet.

3.2. Once you are connected, you will see your wallet address on the top right corner of the page. Scroll down and click “Share”.

3.3. A pop-up window will appear. It will allow you to share your referral link to social media sites.

3.4. You can also copy the referral link and send it to your friends and family.

3.5. Let your friends and family know that you have sent them a referral link to save on the trading fees!

There are 2 ways you can apply the referral promo to your account:

4.1. Using the Referral Link:

4.1.1. Click on the referral link that you received from your friend or family member. It will ask you to connect to your MetaMask wallet if you are not already logged in.

4.1.2. Once logged in sign the message:

4.1.3. After you Confirm the MetaMask pop-up, you will see that the “Referral link applied!” message on the screen.

4.2. How to Apply Promo

4.2.1. Go to the Apply Promo page of the GMI Marketplace and Connect to your MetaMask wallet.

4.2.2. Look at the top right of the page to verify that you are connected to your account address.

4.2.3. Paste the address of your friend and click “Get 10% Rebate”

4.2.4. Click “Sign a message in wallet”.

4.2.5. Confirm the pop-up from MetaMask.

4.2.6. You will see that the “Referral link applied!” message on the screen which confirms your account is signed up to receive the promotion.

5. How to Redeem Reward

5.1. Go to the Redeem rewards page of the GMI Marketplace and Connect to your MetaMask wallet.

5.2. If you have not already, a pop-up window will appear. Click “Verify your Email”.

5.3. Once you verify your email address, you will see how much referral rewards and service fee rebates are available for you to claim. You can either Claim the individual rewards or Claim All to claim all rewards
